## What the Indexing Manager does

- Indexes the prior servicer’s imaged file at boarding, document by document, against the loan it belongs to
- Reads every inbound letter, fax, email and upload, matches it to its loan, and classifies it — insurance declaration, tax bill, payoff request, hardship package, bankruptcy notice
- Recognises the documents that start a clock — a qualified written request, a notice of error, a loss mitigation application — and routes them the day they land
- Files trailing documents, such as the recorded mortgage and the final title policy, to the collateral file and marks them received

## Where it stops

A document it cannot match to a loan, or classify above its confidence floor, goes to your correspondence team named, with the page and the likeliest matches. Anything that may be a qualified written request or a notice of error is routed as one, never parked.
